Kenya Scouting & Community Outreach Trip
We are preparing to travel to Kenya in the coming years for what we call a scouting trip.
Scouting is not just visiting—it’s stepping into communities, listening, and seeing where help is truly needed. It’s about finding where God is already moving and partnering with that work. We go in to help start things that will continue long after we leave—whether that’s establishing prayer groups, strengthening local ministry, or helping someone build a sustainable business.
During this 1–3 month trip, we will be pouring into the community through several powerful areas of ministry:
Travel & Mission Setup – Helping cover flights, in-country transportation, housing, food, and basic needs for the team while we are serving on the ground.
Widows Gathering – Bringing women together who are often overlooked and carrying heavy burdens. We will sit with them, love them, feed them, and send them home with food—reminding them they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress…” – James 1:27
Mothers Gathering – Creating a space where local mothers can be encouraged, strengthened, and cared for. They will receive a meal, support, and food to take home to their families.
Midwife Training & Supplies – Equipping women who play a critical role in bringing life safely into the world. We will feed them, provide birthing supplies, and offer training to help them better care for mothers and babies during childbirth.
Local Leaders & Ongoing Impact – We are intentional about working with someone in each area—raising up local leaders who will remain after we leave—to continue loving people, building relationships, and showing the light of Christ in their communities.
This $20,000 goal helps fund the full vision of the trip: travel, outreach meals, take-home food, training supplies, birthing supplies, and support for the work that will continue after we return home.
